THE 2027 EDITION
After returning to São Francisco de Paula in 2026, Threerace stays in the city for the April 2–4, 2027 edition, based at the Events Center. Ultra begins on Friday with an XCC stage in category heats and continues through Sunday. Sport holds its two stages on Saturday and Sunday.
The plans also include an expo connecting cyclists, companions and visitors with stores and businesses in the industry, with assistance, product presentations and direct sales to the public.
With a history dating back to 2017, Threerace is preparing its 2027 edition with 400 spots: 250 in Ultra and 150 in Sport, distributed across three tiers per format.
TIERS AND PRICES PER ATHLETE
The priority tier is for the priority list. A quick-drying casual T-shirt, cycling socks, a personalized race plate and a drawstring bag are included in every format and tier.

Each tier closes on its stated end date or when its spots sell out, whichever comes first. The priority tier is exclusive to the priority list. Opening and closing times will be announced through the official registration channel.
The cycling jersey is optional and can be purchased for an additional R$ 100 when registering. Available for Ultra and Sport in every tier.

ULTRA AND SPORT
Check the categories and choose your competition. E-bike is exclusive to Ultra, with separate men’s and women’s categories. Sporting age is the age reached by December 31, 2027. The general minimum is a sporting age of 19, except for Sport Women’s Open as explained below.

The age group is determined by the younger member, with both members meeting the minimum age. In Men’s Open, the older member may be over 59. Mixed and Women’s have no additional age band beyond the minimum age.

In Sport Women’s Open, athletes must be at least 18 on 03/04/2027, the day of the first stage, and no older than 29 by sporting age.
Category grouping
Sport has no Elite, pairs or E-bike categories. Age categories with 1, 2 or 3 confirmed entrants are merged into the immediately younger compatible category. Categories with 4 or more remain separate.
The process starts with the oldest age groups and continues toward the younger groups while the group has up to 3 athletes. Men’s Under-23 and Women’s Open remain open even with up to 3 entrants.
The final category structure is determined after registration closes and published before the first Sport start. Absences and withdrawals do not change this grouping during the race.
Each rider enters one race format and one eligible category. If Elite, Open and an age category overlap, choose only one. Grouping respects the race format, sex and competition type.

Ultra · Three days of racing
Ultra offers this edition’s greatest racing volume, with an XCC stage, a queen stage and a final stage.

The XCC stage will consist of two laps of a 3.5 km circuit with 120 m of elevation gain per lap, totaling 7 km and 240 m of climbing. Starts will be by category, with a maximum of 10 athletes per heat. The first start time will be adjusted to the number of heats, ensuring the race finishes by 17:00.
Sport · Two stages over the weekend
Sport offers the experience of stage racing on Saturday and Sunday, with a shorter total distance than Ultra.

TEN YEARS OF MOUNTAINS, PEOPLE AND STORIES.
Threerace has been building its history since 2017, bringing people together through mountain biking, nature and stage racing.
In 2026, we returned to São Francisco de Paula, in the Serra Gaúcha. In 2027, we stay in the city to celebrate ten years of this journey, from April 2 to 4. A new gathering for those already part of our history and those joining us for the ride.

The 2027 edition plans a commercial area at the Events Center for cyclists and those attending the event. The aim is to bring together products and assistance covering bicycles, parts, accessories, clothing, sports nutrition and cycling-related services.
Participating stores, demonstrations, opening hours and access conditions will be announced as the schedule is confirmed.

Do I need to take part on all three days?
Ultra stages run from Friday to Sunday. Sport stages take place on Saturday and Sunday.
Does Sport take part in Friday’s XCC stage?
No. Friday’s XCC stage is exclusive to Ultra. Sport races on Saturday and Sunday.
Is the jersey included in registration?
No. The cycling jersey is optional and can be purchased for an additional R$ 100 when registering. Available for Ultra and Sport in every tier. A quick-drying casual T-shirt and cycling socks are already included in the registration price.
